One of the issues I have been facing over the previous couple of weeks is trying to elevate my blog’s search ratings in Google. While Windows Live Search seems perfectly happy to index my blog, Google seems unable to return anything from my blog. I went trawling on the Community Server forums and discovered that Dan Bartlet has been hard at work and has upgraded his GoogleSiteMap addin to support Community Server v2+. This comes complete with simple instructions that simply require you to upload the binary files, modify a config file, or two, and hey presto you have a Google Sitemap. Whether this helps my rating is yet to be seen, but at least the Webmaster tool Google provides allows you to query how your site is indexed…..
